Verb haircare is a New York based brand that creates hair products which "bridge the gap" between drugstore and high-end haircare. They create products without parabens and sulfates (the nasty stuff) for an active, easygoing lifestyle. I decided to try out their stuff because I saw this trial pack at Winners and their brand has been floating around the Instagram and Influencer space in the last few months.

I’m not a huge fan of this one. I mean, it works. It holds your hair in place with a lighter more flexible hold, but it smells awful. Like full on chemicals. And I get it, fragrances aren’t the best for you or your body, but at the same time, I want my hair to smell nice. I’d rather have no scent whatsoever than a bad chemical scent.
I’ve been forcing myself to use this over the past few months and I’m a little less offended by the scent at this point and I do appreciate the soft hold (which is great for my bangs and when I do looser beauty waves). But, purely because of the scent, I would not repurchase this product.

This one is actually phenomenal. Comparable to the Lush dry shampoo powder. It’s finer milled, so it does blend into the hair a little faster than the Lush one. But keep in mind, this dry shampoo is a white powder, so it take work to rub it in if you have darker hair like me.
I prefer to put my dry shampoo in my hair at night, throw my hair up into a top knot and then the next day I style it and the dry shampoo has already been tousled and rubbed in. Just a few touch ups and I’m ready to go.
I would repurchase this dry shampoo, but considering how little you need for each use, I’m sure this bottle will last me a very long time!
This dry-shampoo is talc-free and has pretty good reviews online at Sephora from people with a variety of hair types, so I would definitely recommend trying out the mini if you’re in the market for a dry shampoo!

I would have to say… this product does nothing. And maybe that’s just because my hair is always unaffected by sea sprays and tousling products. It’s like my hair refuses to have any texture other than pin straight!
The product smelled okay and the spray wasn’t super fine, so this just ended up as a “meh” product for me. I’m going to pass it along since it doesn’t do anything for my hair aside from add another product I have to wash out at the end of the day.
Have you tried Verb haircare?! It seems through these 3 products that I’m not a huge fan so far, but who knows, maybe in the future I’ll try them again and find better products!
