I actually purchased and used up an entire full size pot of this moisturizer this past winter - so getting a little mini sample size as the Sephora Birthday Gift (a perk of their loyalty program which is free to join and really doesn't send you emails and nonsense) this year was a welcome addition to my skincare collection.

My sister originally recommended it to me. She has pretty normal skin (very clear and not particularly dry or oily) and she said it was ultra-moisturizing. Now on my own, very dry skin, this moisturizer wasn’t ultra-hydrating. But that being said, it was decently good! I enjoyed how it did add hydration without fragrance and I appreciated the packaging since it keeps the moisturizer fresh until you need to pump a little out. It also means there’s no dried-up cake-y old moisturizer in the lid (like some of my other moisturizers do).

This moisturizer is safe for ultra sensitive skin and didn’t break me out at all. I used up a full-size with ease and look forward to using up this mini. Is this a great moisturizer? Yes. Is it worth the price? Probably not, especially since I know some drugstore moisturizers that work well for me too (The Green Beaver company has good ones, as well as Neutrogena).

This is another full-sized product that I bought around the same time as the moisturizer. And this one is still going strong! It still feels like there’s a ton of product left (although there’s no real way to see since the bottle is opaque to keep sunlight away from disturbing the formula.

You only need a teeny tiny pea-sized amount of this serum at night after cleansing your skin. It’s supposed to help even out skin-tone and texture and reduce the size of pores. To be honest, I haven’t really seen a significant difference in my skin while using this product. But I’m curious if after using it up and no longer having it in my routine - my skin will noticeably change. Maybe I’ve just gotten used to what the serum is doing for my skin texture! Who knows!

For now, I wouldn’t recommend it purely because I don’t know if it’s really saving my skin or making a difference - especially since the price tag is so high.

This is also a little mini sample that came in the Sephora birthday gift. It’s a great sample size that lasted me quite a few weeks (using only at night).

I love that this cleanser is unscented which makes it sensitive-skin friendly. I also really love how it leaves my skin feeling afterwards. Some cleansers strip my skin of all hydration to get that squeaky-clean effect. But not this one. This one leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh while also keeping it’s moisture. And I need all the moisture I can get.

This is one product that I would consider repurchasing. The full size is 5 oz which I think would last a very long time for me. It’s hard to find a gentle cleanser that doesn’t strip my ultra-dry skin of hydration. So I’m really glad I got to try this one out!.

Overall, I think Drunk Elephant is a good brand. Their products are safe for sensitive skin, they are cruelty-free and are considered “clean” beauty at Sephora. It is a little pricey though - but if you're into luxe skincare, I say go for it! The products are good and feel high quality.

I’d still love to try their Lippe Balm and would be open to trying more of their products. Maybe in a sample-size package… I love their mandate for good ingredients and I think their products and packaging are new and innovative compared to most skincare releases.
