Summer staple: linen

Oh how time flies!

I've been so bad at staying consistent online. But no need for excuses, I'm going to try my best to get back to weekly posts.

As I mentioned before, I'm going through my closet to try to "professionalize" it. These pants are a more recent thrifted addition and I love them! They're a super lightweight linen but they're not see-through (so hard to find in summer pants).

I know a lot of people don't like linen since it wrinkles so much - but honestly I don't care about the winklyness - I'm just glad that they're breathe-able, light and airy, because it's been so hot and humid. While I love dressing up, I am way too sweaty for fancy summer clothes - I definitely prioritize breathability. Cotton + linen = the answer.

I paired these pants with a basic black crew-neck shirt and black espadrilles. Nothing too fussy.

I'm looking forward to more summery outfits to come! I'm so glad the warm (and sunny) weather is here to stay (although I'm writing this in the midst of a massive thunderstorm).
